Weekend Update

Hank is still really loving going to the Little Gym. We had our third class on Saturday morning, and Hank was very brave. Crawling through the tunnel was very exciting. The staff switch things up between each class, so the kids have new things to try each week.
He was quick to imitate the teach and the other children, and he swung from the bars for the first time. The video shows him swinging by himself, and you can tell just how proud he is of himself.
After a good long nap at home on the couch, we met up with my family for a night of bowling and dinner at the Cock of the Walk.
Grandma brought Hank a new puzzle to play with, and we all took turns holding/watching him during the bowling. I am sad to report that I did not win either game.

Hank's favorite part of the Cock of the Walk was the pond out back. We watched turtles while waiting for a table, between appetizers and entrees, and while we were waiting for the check. I think we were outside of the restaurant more than we were inside!

We spent Sunday morning at the zoo with our friends Skye and James. The boys rode along in their strollers while the moms got to visit. I think everyone had fun.

I think Hank's favorite part of this trip was seeing the elephants. He requested to visit them again before we left! There was also a bulldozer in one corner of the zoo that really caught Hank's eye. That boy loves trucks of any kind.
My favorite part was the baby gorilla! So cute!
MK was confirmed at Christ the King Church on Sunday. Hank and his cousin Roxanne were dressed in their finest for the occasion. They are so funny together! Roxanne can crawl now, so Hank started crawling around after her. Roxanne was interested in all of his toys, too, so there was quite a bit of "no! mine!" heard.

Here he is, wringing his hands over Roxanne on his Elmo plane.
MK looked so pretty for Confirmation. My sister Jill was so proud!
We finished the weekend off with a great big family dinner at my parents' house. Hank sat on a stool like a big boy, so Roxanne could sit in the high chair. Colin washed dishes with Granny afterwards and looked so cute in his apron!
who, me?
