Sunday night, after a fun-filled and busy weekend, we put Hank to bed at 8. He went quietly and I thought for sure he went right to sleep...until Colin sneezed about ten minutes later. Then we heard the sweetest little 'bless you, Daddy' from Hank's room.
Hank's bedtime routine is usually a long bath, lotion and jammies, brush his teeth and then settle into the rocking chair for either a few stories or some Thomas the Train on DVR with Daddy. Colin and Hank both really enjoy this special night time cuddling. Well, last night around 7:30, Hank picked up Lion and Pinky and announced "I go nigh nigh!" Colin tried to convince him to rock a little first, but Hank wasn't having it. Colin put him in his bed, and after a few minutes of quiet talking, he was fast asleep. Such a big boy.
