Sick

Hank was sick all last weekend. He had hand, foot and mouth, which is a nasty virus that lots of toddlers get. It gave him a very sore throat and a fever, but most kids have a rash on their hands, feet and mouth (hence the name). There is no medicine for this virus, so it just had to run its course. His throat must have really been hurting, because he wouldn't eat a single bite all day Saturday or Sunday. Luckily, we kept him hydrated by giving him suckers, cups without lids, juice boxes with straws that he could squeeze and spill. We were trying anything we could to get him feeling better!
Right before he got sick he picked out a fire truck at Tuesday Morning. It was $5, so I got it. That thing kept him entertained all weekend long.

Making the fire truck fly like an airplane.
Suckers make your throat feel better!

We spent most of the weekend trying to get him to eat and sleep with brief trips outside. Outside makes everything seem better.
