Colin went back to Ortho Arkansas today to get his staples out of his leg and to get a new cast. The staples were pretty gnarly looking, but the doctor said that Colin had less swelling and less bruising than typical.
He will have to wear this fiberglass cast for three weeks. The original outlook was five weeks in the cast, so three weeks is a huge improvement. He will move to a walking boot after that, which will be more comfortable for him.
I tried to talk him into getting a hot pink cast, but he chose black instead. Oh well. The healing continues!

That looks painful! It's a good thing Colin has a sweet and loving wife to take care of him. Hang in there Eve - Colin will owe you big time when your baby joins the family!
