Uncle Dave update

I saw Uncle Dave again this morning. He had a really good night last night, which was a relief after not being able to sleep very well since his surgery three weeks ago. He is such a trooper. He has had his colon and bladder removed, yet he is able to get up out of bed and walk the hospital halls with a smile on his face. He asks every nurse and doctor how they are doing when they come visit him. Just when I think my life is getting complicated, it helps to step back and think of Uncle Dave and how he continues to be so positive and loving. He helps me to keep things in perspective. Thanks to everyone who is praying and sending healing thoughts to our family.
