Happy Earth Day!

A few years ago, I guess when my niece MK was about 8, she was telling me about the solar system. She was studying space at school and wanted to know what my favorite planet was.

My immediate response was "Earth."

"I mean besides Earth!" came next. She said hers was Neptune because it is blue and blue is her favorite color.

I stand by my choice of Earth as the best planet in the solar system, although I do admire Saturn's rings. Earth is just so lovely!
