Hanky Tanky

Not sure where it is coming from, but Hank has had a shift in language lately. He can hold real conversations, and he loves to narrate while we are watching tv. He also pretends to read books that he knows well by making up stories to go with the pictures. He used to use the correct words for animals like rabbit, cat, dog, bear. Now they are all bunny rabbit, kitty cat, puppy dog, and teddy bear. Also, trains used to be called engines, cabooses or train. Now they are called choo-choo trains.
Here is Hank making a choo-choo out of magnetic beads at the Museum of Discovery

He has been chewing his toast into a choo-choo train every morning and driving it on the plate. He is branching out on his television programs now, too. Instead of only wanting to watch Thomas the Train, he now enjoys Chuggington (about trains) and Dinosaur Train (about dinosaurs on a train). He also enjoys singing "I've been working on the railroad," and the 'fee-fi-fiddly-i-o' part is pretty darn adorable.

I called Hank 'Hanky' the other day. He said I NOT Hanky. My name is Henry Robert Jorgensen!

He knows his months now, and he knows his birthday!
