Update

Hank has collected so many cars, trucks, and trains. Good thing he is so organized!

This mild August weather has let us get back to the park! Hank still loves the swings and the tunnel, but just this week he went down the 'big slide' for the first time! 

Here he is at the bottom of the 'big slide.'

He had his last swim lesson last week, and it was so cold! The kids didn't do much swimming except for his friend Audrey. Audrey went off the diving board for the first time! After Hank saw her, he said he wanted to do it, too. He walked all the way to the end of the board, looked down at his teacher treading water, looked back at me, and said "I can't do it." It was a pretty good try, though!

We celebrated with a pizza party afterward. Hank likes to eat his pizza from the side. Every time!

Hank moved up to his new preschool class on Monday. He is going to miss Ms.Rita (above), but I think this new class will be great for him. Here he is with his buddies Charly Ann and Jillian on their first day.

This is Gracie, the girl next door. Hank really likes her a lot. She came running out yesterday to show us her new hamster, Baxter. We are really lucky to have such a sweetheart next door, since there are very few children in our actual neighborhood.
