We spent last Sunday outside of Yellville for Colin's family campout. We could only stay for the day because of work and weather, but we had fun! Hank was a trooper in the car. He rode from Little Rock to Marshall with no complaints before starting to WANT OUT. He fell asleep after Marshall and slept the last 45 minutes to the cabin. I have to brag and say that he made it 3 hours in the car wearing undies with no accident.
We were all glad to be out of the car when we got there around 8:30 that morning. Hank immediately started exploring with Nae Nae and Daddy. They stomped in the creek, looked at bugs, blew bubbles and had a big time.
Colin's grandpa had a feather stuck in his cap. He built the cabin himself years ago and still does a lot of the maintenance on the property.
Colin's cousins were there and really hit it off with Hank. Eden read him books, and Luke drove us around in the golf cart. Hank was amazed by the dirt roads and riding without a carseat.
After lunch and some croquet, we packed it up and headed back to Little Rock around 4. Hank had skipped his nap and was exhausted.
Hopefully we can do it again this fall and stay a little longer!
