Busted

Hank fell last night and busted his lip. He was riding on his tiny school bus, like he does all the time, but this time he lost his footing and just face planted into the hardwood floors.

His mouth was so bloody! I was immediately concerned for his teeth, but they all appeared to be fine. His upper gums and his lower lip were definitely injured though.

His bottom lip started swelling immediately. Luckily for us, Hank was done crying before it even stopped bleeding. He is a tough little man! We rocked and held some ice on it, and within fifteen minutes he was up and at it again. He looked at that bus and so "no no school bus. don't hurt Hank!"

 

The bus is typically packed full of trains and trucks. He played with it again this morning, so I guess there are no hard feelings!
