I took Hank to the Little Rock Zoo on Saturday with three of his friends (and their mamas). It was Hank's third trip to the zoo, and I think he enjoyed it much more this time. He was more able to see what I was pointing at and really see the animals. Last time we were there he was mostly interested in people watching and eating goldfish.
The elephant was eating hay with her trunk. I tried to explain it to Hank, but he mostly just laughed at me trying to make elephant sounds. I'm a fool for that kid.
Here he is with his good buddy Drew. They were so well behaved for us.
He was particularly interested in the giraffes and the lions.Here he is pointing at the lion and saying 'rawr.' We were so happy that the lions were lying in the sun where we could get a good look at them!
He was worn out after two hours at the zoo. Success!

All I can think when I see that hat is On Golden Pond. Love that boy.
