15 weeks + 3 days

This is week 15 for me. The second trimester has been pretty awesome so far. I have only gotten sick once or twice in the past few weeks, and I feel much more energetic. I am sleeping really well and getting up less in the middle of the night to pee. My belly is starting to show now, which is a really odd sensation! Every morning is a new challenge to find something suitable for work. Can't they just let me wear yoga pants and Colin's tshirts?

I should be able to feel the baby start moving soon, and I go in on Monday for my four month check up. We have rearranged the two spare bedrooms in our house so that now the smaller of the two is being used as Colin's dressing room/office/Pujols's crate. The larger bedroom, which was formerly called the office, is now doubling as a guest bedroom and baby bedroom. I was determined to keep the full bed set up and fit the crib in there. It looks really good. We hit a little snag putting the crib together because I have somehow misplaced four of the screws. Good thing we aren't in any rush! Also, I realized that this crib was one of the recalled cribs for the moveable side, so I am going to see if my dad can help us make it immobile. I am having lots of fun brainstorming on what to register for, but I am trying to hold off until next month when we know if it is a boy or a girl. Although I do like the idea of getting lots of neutral colored things in case the next baby is a different gender. If there is a next baby, of course!

The baby is the size of an avocado this week and the bones in the ears are developed enough to hear me talking to them. It is all so miraculous.

Eve, you are still welcome to use MK's crib if you want to. Having a side that can be lowered is very handy when the baby is still so small... I don't have a mattress to offer though :)
