When it rains, it pours

We had a roofer come out about two weeks ago to fix our leaking soffit on the back of our house. He did some repairs and sealed things up on the roof and thought our troubles were over. We had about five inches of rain in the past 24 hours, and our roof couldn't stand up to the massive amounts of water. This is a picture of our soffit vent on the back porch from last night. Oh, and our crawlspace flooded again.
